Church. 1829. By John Carline. Brick, with Welsh slate roof recessed behind parapet to nave, plain tiled roof to chancel. West tower, nave without separate aisles, and chancel a later addition. Square base to tower which continues above nave roof line as 2 stepped octagonal lanterns with shallow leaded cap. Doorway in stone moulded architrave in south wall of tower, with clock over. Cornice which continues across nave. Nave of 5 bays with round-arched windows, and a door in moulded architrave beneath the easternmost window. Chancel added somewhat later, with 3 lancet windows and a steep gabled roof. INTERIOR: has nave and 2 aisles formed by first-floor gallery which is supported on cast-iron Corinthian and Tuscan columns.
