Description
The mounting block, located approximately 20 metres north of the tower of the Church of Saint Peter, dates back to 1774, as noted in the Churchwardens' accounts. It is made of dressed grey sandstone, which is nearly of ashlar quality, and features four steps leading up to it. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby church.
