Description

This 18th-century milestone is made of roughly-carved limestone and features a cast iron plate. It is located on the north-eastern side of the roadway and has an arched top. The cast iron plate displays the wording 'TO / BEWDLEY / 6 MILES' in relief, with a raised rim. The entire plate is painted with a white background, black lettering, and a black rim. There are fixing holes on the left and right sides of the plate, each with projecting bolt heads.
