Description
This ha-ha, located approximately 55 metres southeast of Brand Hall, dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed from squared and coursed red sandstone with dressed coping blocks. The structure is about 60 metres long and stands one metre high, with ramps at each end that return to the southeast. Globe finials are positioned at both ends of the ha-ha. This feature serves to separate the lawn in front of Brand Hall from the small wooded park that surrounds it.
