Description

Nos 23 to 26 on Brookend Street are 17th century buildings with later alterations. They are two storeys high and feature three dormers and four sash windows. The passage on the left side of No 24 includes a stop-chamfered beam and a wall made with a few large dressed stones. The rear of the buildings is constructed from red sandstone and includes some old chimney stacks. The front is finished in stucco and has three gabled dormers, all beneath a slate roof. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 21 to 55 on Brookend Street and No 1 on Station Street.
