Description

This building is a 17th-century barn located to the north-east of Mintridge Farmhouse. It is constructed of stone and timber frame, featuring red brick nogging and a weatherboarded range, situated on sloping ground with a stone ramp leading up to the doors. The barn has an L-shaped plan and includes vertical lights in the stone wall. It is topped with a tiled roof that has gable ends. The barn is noted for its picturesque appearance and is included for its group value, as it forms part of a collection with Mintridge Farmhouse and the stables to the north, as well as other barns to the north and north-east.
