Description
This building is a former cartshed and granary, now used as a storehouse, dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of rubble and timber-frame with wattle-and-daub infill, topped with a stone slate roof. The structure features three roof bays, with an entrance located at the south-east end through the gable wall. There are two blocked openings in the north-east wall and a circular pillar at the east corner. Steps lead up to the first-floor granary on the south-west wall. The framing includes one square panel high in the side walls and the south-east gable, while the north-west gable is made of rubble. The gable truss consists of a cambered tie-beam with three queen struts supporting the collar and V-struts above. There is a raked top loft entry on the north-east wall.
