Description

The churchyard wall, likely built in the 18th century, is made of coursed sandstone rubble and features stone coping. It starts at the northwest end of Church Row as a tall, partly retaining wall that borders the churchyard and separates it from the garden of the Royal Hotel. At this section, the wall stands approximately 2 meters high. It ends at the gate piers in the eastern wall of the Prospect. This structure is included for its group value.
