Description

Lower Poswick House dates from the middle ages and features an exposed timber frame. The building has an irregular plan with a cross-wing in the middle. It retains remains of a medieval cruck-truss, while the rest of the structure is from the 17th century. The house has two storeys, cellars, and attics, along with diagonal brick chimneys and a tiled roof. Inside, there is re-set 17th-century panelling. Lower Poswick House, along with the barn to the north-west and the wall to the south-west, forms a group.
