Description
Longlands Farmhouse is a building from the 16th and 17th centuries, constructed with a timber frame and red brick nogging, with some areas faced in later brick. It has two storeys and features modern three-light casements. The house includes two small gables that were added later and has a hipped tile roof. A central stone chimney with a moulded cornice and modern diagonal shafts is present. The south-west wing, dating from around 1700, is made of red brick and has two storeys and an attic. This wing has a tile roof with gable ends, modern mullion casements, a gabled dormer, stringcourses, and a diagonal brick chimney. Inside, there is a fireplace from around 1700 with a bolection moulded surround.
