Description

The barn located north-west of Lower Poswick House is believed to be medieval, although it may be from a later period. It features a timber frame with red brick nogging and a rubble plinth. The structure incorporates two medieval cruck-trusses with two collars and has a tiled roof. There are later barns attached to each end of the building, and external stone steps lead up to a loft door. The barn, along with Lower Poswick House and a wall to the south-west, forms a cohesive group.
