Description

Nos 138 to 142 on The Homend are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings. The ground floors of Nos 138 and 140 are painted brick, while the rest of the structure is roughcast. The buildings feature brick dentil eaves and have a low-pitched slate roof with gable ends. They are three stories tall with three windows. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and each center window on every floor has a segmental head. The doors are modern, with No 142's door located at the side. There are brick chimney stacks and a small continuous hood over the ground floor. To the left of No 138, there is a lean-to structure.
