Description

These cottages date from the late 17th to early 18th century. They are timber-framed with regular square brick infill panels and have a slate roof with end stacks. The stack to the right is of local stone with a detached brick shaft. The cottages are two storeys high and have three framed bays, with an irregular arrangement of windows. A C19 glazing bar sash window is on the ground floor to the left, while the upper windows and the ground floor window to the right are C20 casements. Symmetrically placed entrances are located at each end of the front elevation. A large C20 extension projects at right angles from the rear.
