Description

MARSTOW CP BRELSTON GREEN SO 52 SE 6/112 Churchyard cross and sundial about 10 yards south- east of junction of nave and chancel of the Church of St Matthew GV II

Steps, base and shaft of churchyard cross with attached sundial. Perhaps C14 or C15 with mid-C19 and early C20 alterations. Two octagonal steps with square restored base and octagonal shaft about 2 1/2 feet high; chamfered to return at bottom; top of shaft carries a bronze sundial, probably C19.
