Description

The barn and hop kilns located west of Merrifield Farmhouse date from the 17th to 18th century. The structure is built of stone rubble, featuring a timber frame and brick in the gable end, topped with a corrugated iron roof. Adjoining the barn are twin-roundel hop kilns that currently have no roofs. This building is included for its group value.
