Description

This is a barn and hop kiln located southwest of Hall Place, dating from the 18th to 19th century. The barn is constructed of red brick and features brick steps leading up to the loft. It has a door and a slate roof with gable ends. Adjoining the barn is a round hop kiln topped with a conical slate roof. This structure is included for its group value, as it contributes to the overall significance of Hall Place and its farm buildings.
