Description
The wall and gazebo at Holme Pierrepont Hall date from the early 17th century, with some later repairs and alterations. The structure is made of red brick and features moulded ashlar coping. The wall runs approximately 125 metres from west to east, then turns at a right angle and continues south for about 75 metres, ending in a single red brick pier topped with ashlar coping and an urn finial. At the re-entrant angle, there is a small gazebo with a hipped slate roof and an arched entrance. The east/west wall includes a domestic doorway with an ashlar surround, and to the left of this is a later doorway. The north/south wall has a gateway.
