Description

The Pigeoncote, dating from the 14th century, is located off Church Lane in Sibthorpe. It was restored in the mid-20th century and is constructed of coursed rubble and dressed stone. The building features a conical plain tile roof topped with a square lead cap and has a chamfered string course. It is designed as a battered round tower with two stages. On the northwest side, there is a low doorway with a timber lintel and stone jambs, leading to an oak plank door.
