Description
The barn at Number 31 is a Grade II listed structure, dated 1651, with extensions and alterations made in the 19th century. It was restored between 1977 and 1978. The barn features a timber frame and red brick with herringbone brick nogging, set on a rubble plinth, and has a pantile roof. It includes a large doorway with a plank door and an overlight. The visible frame consists of nine posts, braces, a groundsill, and a wall plate. To the right, there is a 19th-century extension made of red brick and pantiles. The lintel above the doorway is inscribed with "1651 G.M."
