Description

This is an 18th-century brick cottage located on the north side of Westgate in Southwell. The cottage has a pantile roof with chamfered eaves and a single ridge stack. The windows are cast-iron Gothic casements, with the front window having a segmental head. It is a two-story building with a single-window range, the front window being offset to the left. A 20th-century close boarded door is located to the right. The right gable features a single, smaller Gothic casement on each floor.
