Description
Honing House is a house dating from the late 18th century, raised in the early 19th century, with mid-19th century additions. It is constructed of brick and features slate and pantile roofs, along with two external gable stacks. The building is three storeys high and has a three-window range in an L-plan layout with two rear wings. The front of the house displays three plain sash windows, with the central window having a segmental head, and above these are three Yorkshire sashes, with the central one being a dummy. There is a central flat-roofed 19th-century porch that has dentilled eaves and a half-glazed door. On either side of the porch are plain sashes with segmental heads. The right gable includes a large late 20th-century conservatory, and above it are two-light casements on each floor.
