Description
The Smith Woolley Offices are a pair of late 18th century cottages that were remodeled in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a steeply pitched pantile roof, with a single off-centre ridge stack and an external stack on the west gable. It has 1½ storeys and five windows. The entrance is marked by an off-centre latticed timber porch that contains a panelled door with a rectangular overlight, flanked by a single 19th century four-light mullion and transom casement. Beyond this, there is a two-light 20th century mullion and transom casement, followed by another 19th century four-light casement that features Gothic tracery, all with segmental heads. Above the entrance, there is a central three-light gabled casement, flanked by two similar single-light casements and two more three-light casements in through-eaves gabled dormers. The building is included for its group value only.
