Description
The lych gate and boundary wall at the Church of Holy Trinity were constructed in 1874. The structure features rockfaced ashlar and timber, with ashlar dressings and a patterned tile roof. The wall has a moulded band on the southwest side and chamfered coping. The square lych gate has coped walls with two buttresses on each side that support a sole plate and four strutted corner posts. The king post roof includes arch braces to the collar and purlins, which have moulded ends. At the top, there is a central ridge cross. The gate is fitted with a pair of pierced, panelled timber gates.
