Description
The stable range and attached boundary wall, located 20 metres southeast of Normanton Hall, were built around 1870. They are constructed of yellow brick with stone dressings and slate roofs, designed in the Gothic Revival style to complement Normanton Hall. The structure consists of two parallel single-storey ranges with six bays, positioned at right angles to the street. The gables at the street end feature traceried bargeboards, and each gable has a hatch adorned with Gothic fretwork and a hood mould. The right gable also has a blocked opening below it. Between the gables, there is a pair of gates flanked by square capped piers. To the left, a brick boundary wall has stepped stone coping and a doorway to the right. This building is included for its group value with Normanton Hall.
