Description
The Coach House at Edgefield House Hotel was built in 1863 by G.E. Street for the Rev. Winstanley Hall. It is constructed of brick with a half-hipped plain tile roof and features ashlar dressings. The building is a single storey plus attics and has two bays. The east front includes a central casement window, with a large close-boarded door to the left and another single casement beyond it. To the right, there is a pair of close-boarded doors. The south end has a pair of 20th-century garage doors with a timber lintel, and above these, there are small close-boarded doors. At the south end, there is a 1-meter-long brick boundary wall with two stepped buttresses and shaped brick coping. This structure is included for its group value only.
