Description
Manor Farm House is a farmhouse built between 1811 and 1818, likely for John Capps. It is constructed of brick and features a steeply pitched 20th-century pantile roof. The building has a rubble plinth, a first-floor band, dentillated eaves, and includes single gable and ridge stacks. It is two storeys high with garrets and has an L-plan layout with three bays.
The main east front has an off-centre door with a keystoned rubbed brick head, flanked on the left by two glazing bar sashes and on the right by a single glazing bar sash, all with segmental heads. Above this door, there are three glazing bar sashes with timber lintels. The north front features a small light to the left, with a similar light and a door with a segmental head to the right. Above, there is an unglazed opening to the left and a casement above that. The south front has a single-storey lean-to with a casement on the left, and another casement above it.
Adjoining the farmhouse is a ramped brick boundary wall with half-round and shaped brick copings, along with a pair of square gatepiers topped with dressed stone caps.
