Description
The garage at Staunton Hall, originally a cottage, dates back to 1655. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a tiled roof with tiled coping and a kneeler on the west gable, along with an ashlar eaves band. The building is set on a plinth and is a single storey with three bays. The central doorway is arched and blocked, adorned with a hood mould and label stops. Above the doorway is a carved plaque that displays a shield and the date 1655. Flanking the doorway are two stone mullioned windows, which are flat-headed and also have hood moulds and label stops, with a plaque above each window featuring two blank shields and blind cusping. Other facades of the building have been altered. To the west, there is a single bay extension that is rendered and has a pantile roof.
