Description
This is a mid-19th century coach house, later converted into flats in 1986. It is constructed of brick with slate gabled roofs and a tile lean-to roof. The building has a chamfered plinth, pilasters, and a rebated eaves band, with five single or paired brick stacks. It is arranged as a roughly L-shaped building, two storeys in height for the main portion and a single gable wing to the right. The south side features a gabled wing and, to the left, two pairs of doors with keystoned elliptical heads. Beside these are a casement window and a door. The west front has a casement and a door to the left, followed by a glazed opening with an elliptical head. Above, there are three casement windows. The east side includes two casements flanked by a pair of French windows to the left and a lean-to greenhouse by Morris & Jones to the right. Above are six casement windows of varying sizes. The north side has three casement windows, with a door to their right, and two casements above.
An adjoining rendered brick garden wall, in an L-shape and measuring approximately 100 by 70 meters, runs along the east side. It has two doorways and flat stone coping. To the north of the wall is a four-bay potting shed. All windows are 20th-century casements with segmental heads.
