Description
The Sexton's House is a house dating from the mid-18th century to the 19th century, with an early 19th-century extension. It is constructed of brick and features gabled and lean-to roofs covered with plain tiles. The building has a first-floor band, three gable stacks (one of which is external), and a single side wall stack. It is two storeys high with garrets and has an L-shaped plan with two bays.
The windows are plain and consist of glazing bar sashes and casements. On the east side, there is a large sash window, and to the right, there is a 19th-century lean-to addition that includes two casements flanked by single doors. Above this addition, there are two sashes. The south gable features a 20th-century garret casement, while the north gable has a 20th-century door on the left side. To the right of this gable, there is a single-storey outbuilding with a door and a casement.
On the west side, there is a lean-to outbuilding to the left with a door and a casement, and to its right, there are two casements. Above this, to the right, is a small casement. The rear wing has a casement on each floor on the south side.
