Description
Numbers 2 and 6 and the adjoining stable are a farmhouse that has been converted into two houses, dating from around 1775 and the late 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and brick, topped with 20th-century tile roofs that are gabled and hipped. It features a stone plinth and has two ridge stacks and a single gable stack. The structure is two storeys high with three unequal bays, arranged in an L-plan.
The east front has a door on the left, flanked by two casement windows, and to the right, there is a plain sash window. Further to the right, there is a mid-20th-century flat-roofed addition made of reconstituted stone, which includes a lean-to corner porch and a casement window. Above this, there are two casement windows and another sash window, with an additional casement to the far right. The north end of the building features a sash window with a casement above it, and beyond that, to the right, there is a late 19th-century stable that has a door and a slatted casement, both with segmental heads. The south gable has a single-storey lean-to outbuilding that is pebbledashed, with a casement window above, to the right.
