Description
South Owersby House is a farmhouse built in the early 18th century, which was encased and extended in 1835. The house is constructed of yellow and red brick and features a hipped slate roof with slightly overhanging eaves. It has two storeys and a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a 19th-century six-panelled half-glazed door with a bordered overlight, flanked by 19th-century single glazing bar sash windows that have flat splayed brick arches. The first floor has three similar windows. The rear wall, dating from the early 18th century, is made of small red bricks and has segmental headed windows in an irregular arrangement, including four Yorkshire sashes and one glazing bar sash.
