Description

The Stable Block, built in 1866, is a single-storey structure made of brick with a hipped slate roof and three ridge stacks. It features an eight-bay front with garrets. The central entrance to the stable yard has a wide basket arch with raised springing and keyblocks. To the left of the arch are four glazing bar sash windows, and to the right are two additional sash windows, with a wide 20th-century panelled carriage door beyond. The sash windows have brick segmental heads. Above the central archway, there is a circular plain light set in a raised gable, which has a plain bargeboard.
