Description

This is an early to mid-19th century property, number 8 Morton Terrace. It’s two storeys high and built of pale brick, with a Welsh slate roof that is hipped on the right-hand side. The building has a 2:1 window arrangement; the first-floor windows are hung sashes with glazing bars, while the ground-floor windows have modern glazing. The windows are topped with brick voussoirs. A single window is set within a recessed section on the right. The recessed side of the building features a round-headed narrow window above a similar window, with a plain door alongside. Paired eaves brackets are a notable feature. The building is part of a wider group, encompassing numbers 2 to 12 (even) on Morton Terrace, and is listed for its group value.
