Description
No 106 on Church Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed from brick with a parapet and a stone moulded cornice. It features a brick dentil cornice. The top storey has two windows without glazing bars, set under flat arches. The first floor includes a late 19th-century canted bay window, and remnants of a former cill band can be seen. The ground floor showcases a late 19th-century shop front. To the left, there is an early 19th-century doorway flanked by narrow carved pilasters, with feathered scroll brackets that support an open dentil pediment. The doorway has a radiating fanlight with narrow ornamental bars and a four-panel door, two of which are glazed. No 106 is part of a group with No 104, with local interest significance.
