Description
The Old Rectory is a house that was originally built as a rectory around 1840, with some 20th-century alterations. It features coursed limestone rubble and some red brick, topped with a hipped slate roof that has three stacks at the rear. The building is two stories high with a three-bay front that includes a first-floor band. The central doorway has a rectangular overlight above a six-panel door, which is sheltered by a small 20th-century hood. On either side of the doorway are glazing bar sash windows, with three more sash windows located above, all of which have red brick segmental heads. The south front consists of four bays, featuring four long casement windows with red brick segmental heads below and three glazing bar sash windows above, also with red brick segmental heads.
