Description
The Manor House is a building that dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in 1726 and the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a pantile roof that has a hipped left end, a single gable stack, and a single ridge stack. The house is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys with a four-bay front that is dated 1726.
To the right of the front, there is a doorway with a wooden lintel and a panelled door. This doorway is flanked by a pair of long, 19th-century glazing bar sash windows, each set within heavy, painted wood doorcases that have open pediments. Above, there are four more glazing bar sash windows with splayed plaster lintels. At the rear, there is a lower wing that dates from the mid-17th century.
