Description

Nos. 7 to 9 on Westgate is a late 18th-century building that stands three stories tall. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof. The building has painted rusticated stone quoins and a moulded stone cornice below the parapet, along with a band between the upper storeys. There are seven windows that are set under segmented brick arches with flush frames, although only No. 8 retains its original glazing. The ground floor has modern shop fronts. This building is part of a group that includes Westgate Hall and Nos. 1 to 13 on the east side.
