Description

8 and 10 Bath Row consist of two early 19th-century cottages, originally three, now combined as numbers 9 and 10. The cottages are built of coursed rubble with stone quoins and windows. Number 8 has a roof of stone slates, while number 10 has been reroofed. Number 8 has three windows with double-hung sashes and glazing bars. Number 9 has two modern casement windows. A porch constructed of wood treillage with a shaped roof is attached to number 8, while number 9 features a later rendered and glazed porch. Former number 10, now combined with number 9, has three windows on the ground floor; one formerly served as the doorway. Three brick chimney stacks are present. Numbers 7 to 14 form a group.
