Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory, now a house, built in 1827 by Thomas Boyfield. It is constructed of ashlar and features a hipped slate roof with two ashlar wall stacks. The building has two storeys and a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of tripartite glazed double doors framed by a stone architrave and topped with a low pediment. On either side of the entrance are single canted bay windows that contain glazing bar sashes and have plain parapets. The first floor features three glazing bar sashes, while the right-hand side includes two-light casements with Gothick tracery. The building is incorrectly labeled as "Rectory" on the OS map.
