Description
The Little House, originally the stables to Doddington Hall, is a stable block dating from the 16th century, now functioning as a tea room. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a pantile ridge roof with brick coped gables. The building has a single gable stack and two brick ridge stacks, each topped with four circular rubbed brick pots. It is two stories high and consists of six bays. On the ground floor, there are four three-light mullioned windows with iron casements and two segment-headed doors. The upper floor has six three-light mullioned windows, also with iron casements. All openings are framed with plain chamfered stone surrounds.
