Description

No. 20 Banks Street is a house built around 1825. It is constructed of red brick and has a slate roof with stone-coped gables. The wooden eaves feature moulded brackets, and there are gable stacks. The house is two stories tall with a three-bay front. The central doorway has a semi-circular head and is framed by a triple rolled doorcase with a moulded cornice, a traceried overlight, and a panelled door. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows, and there are three glazing bar sash windows above, all with painted brick wedge lintels.
