Description

Frith Bank Bridge is a road bridge built between 1805 and 1812 under the direction of engineer John Rennie. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and features an elliptical arch with a red brick band above it. The bridge has bowed swept walls that end in single square piers, and it is topped with an ashlar coped parapet. The north half of the bridge is located in Frithville parish, while the south half is in Fishtoft parish, within Boston Borough Council. The surrounding area was drained and enclosed by John Rennie from 1802 to 1812.
