Description
Miramar House is a house built in the late 18th century, with a front added around 1823. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped slate roof with lead dressings. The house has two tall brick stacks and is designed in an L-shape. It is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed 20th-century door with a plain overlight, set within a wooden pilastered surround that has a cornice. This entrance is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, all with cambered heads and splayed stone lintels that include keyblocks. The rear wing of the house dates from the late 18th century.
