Description

The Village Cross in Muston is a 14th-century structure that was restored in the 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a plinth consisting of four stone steps arranged in a square, which decrease in size towards a square section socket stone. The socket stone has chamfered angles that are carved with roll-moulded shields. Above this, there is a square base that supports an octagonal shaft, which culminates in a 19th-century crenellated cross.
