Description
Church Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof with brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century six-panel, part-glazed door with a flat-arched head, set within an open rustic porch. The ground floor has three-light windows with a central sliding light and segmental-arched heads. The first floor features two-light horizontal sliding sash windows with wooden lintels, some of which contain old crown glass. The eaves are decorated with dentilled brickwork. At the rear, there is an original single-storey outshut with a cat-slide roof. The interior has not been inspected.
