Description

The dovecote at Shenton Hall, dated 1719, is a two-storey structure built of brick with a plain tiled roof and a square plan, featuring gabled elevations. It has brick string courses and a doorway on the eastern side. A central leaded cupola allows entry for doves. Inside, the walls are fully lined with nesting boxes, and the central potence, along with its pair of ladders, remains intact and functional.
