Description

Pump Cottage is a cottage dated 1761, constructed from red brick with dark headers and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features a three-unit plan, with one bay located to the right of the six-panelled door, which has a moulded wood architrave. The windows are three-light casements, and the ground floor windows have roughly gauged brick heads with keystones. There is a deep sill band adorned with dentils and a wooden eaves cornice. Above the door, there is a date and the initials IH. The cottage has gable and axial stacks.
