Description

Stable Yard Cottages are a pair of cottages, possibly originally three separate dwellings, dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of brick and topped with Welsh slate roofs, and they stand two stories tall. The left cottage features five bays, with three 2-light casement windows to the left of the door and one to the right, all having flat timber lintels. It also has four upper 2-light windows. The right cottage is rendered over brick and ironstone rubble on the gable wall and has a single unit plan, with an inner door and a 2-light casement window to its right, along with two upper 2-light casements.
