Description

Glebe House is a house dated 1793. It is constructed of brick with a low-pitched Welsh slate roof. The building has a three-storey, three-bay plan. A canopy supported by console brackets sits above the central door, likely a later addition. Sixteen-light sash windows are positioned on each floor, flanking the central door, with smaller eight-light sashes in the attic storey. The central first-floor window space is blind, and a datestone bearing the initials WB and TSS is located in the attic. All windows are topped with finely gauged brickheads featuring keystones, and the building includes dentilled sill bands and an eaves cornice. Gable end stacks are present. A lower wing extends to the rear.
