Description

This is a cottage located next to Poplar Farm, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring some burnt headers, with the left-hand bay rebuilt or added in Flemish bond brickwork that includes pale headers. The roof is thatched but covered with corrugated sheeting. The cottage has one and a half stories and a two-unit plan, with the doorway positioned to the left of center. There is a smaller added bay beyond the door, which contains a single three-light casement window. To the right of the door, there is a two-light casement window, and above it, two very long dormers with many small panes. A stack is located on the left-hand gable.
